Code of conduct

Ten rules on campus

  1. 01Students should come in uniform on all days.
  2. 0275% attendance is compulsory.
  3. 03Students are expected to use the library during free hours.
  4. 04Driving vehicles to college is not permitted.
  5. 05Mobile phones are strictly prohibited on the college campus.
  6. 06Students should take part in the assembly prayer and follow the college time-table.
  7. 07Latecomers will not be allowed.
  8. 08CCTV cameras are installed and monitored to maintain discipline.
  9. 09College property must be used with care; the college will recover any penalty for damage from the students responsible.
  10. 10Students should play a proactive role in all activities organised by the college.
Policies

Attendance and college policies

  • Attendance

    All students must attend classes regularly. As per Pre-University Board rules, 75% attendance in each subject at the end of the academic year is compulsory to be eligible for the annual examination.

  • Identity card

    Every student is issued an identity card, which must be worn on campus and produced to the authorities on request.

  • Parent–lecturer meetings

    Parents are informed of the meeting after each assessment and are expected to meet the assigned teachers on the day. Attendance of at least one parent is compulsory.

  • Laboratories

    Students must wear the apron provided to them during laboratory hours.

  • Library

    Students must follow the library's rules and co-operate with the library staff.

  • Cafeteria

    The canteen is for refreshment; students must not use it as a place for amusement.
